The grand and spacious lobby housed a
live piano playing to sooth the ambience with soft and easy listening melody
well spread out with plush cushion sofas at the lobby bar and a superb view
looking through the gigantic glass window to its tropical garden landscaping
next to the Romsai coffee house one floor behind the ground level.
Our arrival was warm and we were led directly to the Executive
Club Lounge to proceed for our check-in.
Located on the 19th floor, it can also be accessed by different lifts from the ground level and is one of Bangkok’s largest Executive Club Lounge.
Elegantly designed with modern contemporary comfort with a touch of Thai ornamental on display which harmonized the entire club floor, with ample space for the dining area as well as cozy lounges divided into various sections for everyone to enjoy the city skyline from directional angles.
The club benefits includes the late breakfast till 11am,
business centre facilities, light snacks, happy hours and canapés ,
complimentary laundry or pressing and other upgraded services that are to be
discovered.
Our 48sqm Serenity Club Suite is generously sized on the 58th floor with a stunning view overlooking the Chao Phraya River exuding a touch of comfort serenity. The studio-like lifestyle living concept of this suite separated the bedroom with plentiful of plush cushions covered with smooth and glossy Thai silk in classic, sophisticated motifs to brighten the mood with a touch of modernity.
Low ceilings may not gives you the majestic emotion but
the beige tone sofas, wall and carpet selected harmonizes the room and the
oversize mirror on the walls gives a perspective vision contrasting the
traditional Thai art painting above the bed board. You may not find so much
Banyan Tree’s elements in this upgraded and new Serenity Club Suite in
comparing to the brand image that you would have expected, especially the subtlety of understated rustic charm and elegance from its existing brand
standard.
The bathroom comes with a standard size of bath tub but a
narrow triangular shape standing shower. Full toiletries amenities offer to
ease your stress if you have forgotten to pack the essentials from home as well
as the tastefully designed light cotton bathrobes and sleepers.
The sky high swimming pool on the 21st floor is
sharing the same entrance with the renown Banyan Tree Spa and a work out gym
next to it. Shimmering under open sky, despite the pool is narrow and feels
claustrophobic with its design layout as well as the sun lounges allocation,
yet there are plentiful potted and blossoming water lilies scatted around the
pool area adding a graceful Thai motif and provides a nest of tropical tranquility
and seclusion for relaxation.

by Saffron’s Chef with secret add on to make this dish even more special here.
Saffron garden is best to visit before sunset, where the
trees are lit with bamboo lampshades and mini light bulbs around the sky garden
with Thai ornaments displayed which adds more romance to the evening.

to rejuvenate your senses and to replenish your body with the best of nature’s

Breakfast can also be enjoyed at the all-day dining
Romsai which is rather enticing. Lots of live cooking stations offer a-la
minute orders especially the Thai noodles and curry section is not to be missed
from its wide spread buffet.
Gazing at the tropical garden through soaring high
oversized windows is definitely a highlight while enjoying your meals here.
Man-made waterfalls splashing running waters to the koi fish pond surrounded by
