The campaign builds on the idea that Instagram is not only a platform for self-expression but also a tool for bringing people and communities closer together. Echoing Instagram’s global reach, the rainbow wall at Paul Smith Los Angeles is one of five to be installed in cities around the world – other cities hosting rainbow walls include Nashville and Cleveland in North America, plus London and Madrid in Europe. The rainbow wall at Paul Smith Los Angeles was unveiled on May 31^st with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Instagram COO Marne Levine in attendance alongside members of the Los Angeles LGBTQ community. “Many people are familiar with the shop’s bright pink colour”, said Paul, “so it will surprise a lot of visitors that during this short period, to celebrate LA Pride, it will be painted in the famous LGBTQ rainbow.
