RUSTIC REVELATIONS
Bottega Veneta Pour Homme, the house’s signature
masculine fragrance initially introduced four years ago, presents a distinct
vision of masculinity, combining sensuality and subtle intellect. Creative
Director Tomas Maier envisioned a journey through the Veneto region in Northern
Italy in the Dolomites, where a gentle breeze fragrant of hay, fir cones, and
pine needles from the nearby woods moves through the wide-open windows of a
rustic retreat. With its first Pour Homme eau de parfum Bottega
Veneta introduces a bolder interpretation.
Once again we find ourselves in the Dolomites, where the main character of this
story has spent hours hiking in the crisp, cool mountains. As he retreats, he
stretches out onto aged leather cushions, and their rich scent fuses with the
fresh essence of cedar leaves clinging to his skin from the outdoors. The
weaving of these sensual aromas creates a sophisticated intensity, marking the
evolution of the signature scent into a richer rendition with long-lasting
diffusivity.
Bottega Veneta Pour Homme
Parfum is a captivating blend of the rarest and finest quality materials. The
juice opens with highly concentrated woody and spicy notes of cedar leaves and
rich cardamom, enhanced and strengthened at the heart by pimento and fir
balsam. A sensual leather accord fused with tonka bean completes this masculine
masterpiece. The continuation of the collaboration of Tomas Maier, master
perfumer Daniela Andrier, and perfumer Antoine Maisondieu, Bottega Veneta Pour
Homme Parfum is an expression of strength and masculinity, enhancing the values
of the signature fragrance.
A STRIKING GAZE
To bring this intriguing character to life, Tomas Maier once again called upon photographer Axel Lindahl and model Zak Steiner - the same model involved in the original Pour Homme campaign - whose alluring gaze and powerful stance generate a statement of confidence and sensual individuality. Shot on location in New York City, the intimate black and white portrait of Steiner sets a seductive yet sophisticated mood, capturing the sensuality of this deeply masculine fragrance.
ICONIC CRAFTSMANSHIP
The Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Parfum flacon and its box remain authentic to the house’s principles of outstanding craftsmanship, innovative design, contemporary functionality, and the highest quality materials, featuring the iconic intrecciato base and screw motif that unites the Pour Homme range of fragrances. The flacon is crafted from Murano glassware and the color palette continues the story of the signature scent, taking on a deeper, smokier personality transforming from silvery gray to robust opaque black and gold.
