PARESA Resort Phuket @ A Heaven Of All Heavens

Paresa, Sanskrit for “Heaven of all Heavens”, was named after the sunset that downed in front of the land that is now home to Paresa Resort Phuket, an understated privately owned hideaway-style luxury resort situated high above the dramatic gradient cliffs of Kamala on Phuket’s ‘Millionaires Mile”. By mylifestylenews.

Built onto the cliff-side amidst lush tropical virgin forest, you take in breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. Much of the original landscape has been preserved, including the protection of large native Banyan trees, which are the soul of Paresa. This waterfront on the cliff luxury resort features 48 individually designed suites and villas is all about nature and the stunning views, with every villa looking out to the endless sea and unforgettable sunsets.

The arrival experience is rather chic and cheekily deceptive, offering a very ‘zen-like’ tranquility and coolness at the impressive and unconventional design and décor of the resort’s foyer.

And just a few steps downward the doors are flung open to a reveal a gold platform that serves as the ‘pulpit’ aka “The Flying carpet” to paradise of heaven from which to soak up the blinding sunshine and those jaw-dropping views that initially take your breath away.

The “Angels” - Paresa’s service team as called then have to drag you into the lift to whisk you away to your villa and you then realize that the view stays with you, no matter where you are in the resort. The “Angels” hospitality is one of the key reasons why this resort will ‘wow’ you and the private pool villas certainly cater to all your needs.

The bathroom on the other hand is all light coloured stone and glass with one wall of windows looking out the villa infinity pool brings in lots of natural blissful sunlight. The enchanting contemporary look offers a double vanity and open closet arrangement to enable you to organize yourselves and settle in comfortably.

Outside is an outdoor shower adjacent to the infinity private villa pool, the patio comes with curtained tent sun lounges which are ideal for in villa relaxation, plus the perfect weather was a bonus.

Our Aqua Villa comes with private infinity pool is the key to our stay, quite capacious and wonderfully comfortable, including the heavenly bed. The soaring pavilion-style bed/living room design in deep color timber and the floor to ceiling windows looking out to the patio and the Andaman Sea watching the boats goes by from a distance is never a boresome thing to do.

There are lush of greenery everywhere in the resort and all along this part of the coastline, which has a calming and tranquil effect on your mood and stay. The only niggle was that you could partially see corners of some other villa pools, so not entirely private as we first thought.

A lookout point from the top.

The resort itself has a heavenly infinity pool in addition to every villa’s private pool, two restaurants - Tahlung Thai restaurant & Diavilo Mediterranean restaurant, a cooking school, resort boutique, library, salon, spa, plus a swimming pontoon at the bottom of the cliff where you can partake in water activities such as snorkeling and kayaking.

A full length infinity main swimming pool

Calm & tranquil with 100% relaxation

There are also many other activities to be had elsewhere on the island as well as islands hopping tours and even a guided heritage walk at the old Phuket town, you will never be wanting for things to do. We booked a kayaking along the coastline to burn off some calories with strenuous exercise paddling and snorkeling around the Cliffside pontoon to see some colourful underwater sea life.

The water is also great for swimming if hot “barbeque” sunbathing is not your thing, with expert staff to guide you should you need their help or takes you to another nearby beaches by the resort shuttle.

Breakfasting under the age-old Banyan tree, offering 270 degree views over the Andaman Sea is what we call bliss. A semi-buffet with a good mixed of Asian-Thai and western selection as well as aplenty variety of hot dishes can be ordered limitless from the designated menu.

Thai-Asian dishes are a must-try with great flavours and consistency, from eggs to noodles and beyond, fresh garden herbs and spices adds that quintessential Thai spiciness to many of their key dishes. There was a touch of decadence with the French free-flow bubbles to be reckoned and such a resort life & style provides a luxurious start in the morning.

If you don’t fancy the idea of being cheek by jowl with other resorts in densely populated beach locations, Paresa Resort would have to be a preferred choice. The Resort offers an intimate luxurious experience with something you would want to cherish for.

From its understated modern day interpretation of Southern Thai architecture design with harmony and the passionate hospitality to the secluded location surrounded by breathtaking views and privacy. This waterfront resort moving up market with desirable amenities and framing the wonderful views beyond is an obvious choice of the gateway to paradise.
