To celebrate FENDI Flowerland, the main inspiration of the Women’s SS2016
Collection, FENDI teams up with famous flower artist Azuma Makoto to launch a pop-up installation
at the Atrium of Times Square in Causeway
Bay. The multicolour Flowerland is set to make a
spectacular and surprising appearance.
The atrium of Times Square graced by the Italian iconic three-wheeled mini-truck ‘Ape’, which is decorated with the flower motifs of Flowerland alongside an awe-inspiring giant bottled flower installation created by Azuma Makoto with 645 bottles of flowers in various sizes.
Besides, an innovative LED water pool is specially designed to display the 3D flowers of FENDI Flowerland and selected handbags in an innovative above-the-water effect which dovetails with the daring spirit of the Roman luxury house.
An opening event was held to mark the third collaboration with Mr. Makoto, following the huge Fur Tree installation of the FENDI Ginza flagship and the Isetan Pop-up store. Both the artist and the Maison share the same values- a perfect balance between daring experimentation and the most incredible savoir-faire.
The store will also feature a collection of new gold and silver Flowerland hot stamping patterns to customize your favorite bag charm and STRAP YOU accessories. FENDI Times Square store is the first Hong Kong store to launch this pattern.
