Along the sandy shores of Paradise Cove, California, Chloé girls embrace
the scorching summer sun by horse-riding on the beach. The two sun-kissed
beauties are captured in a real moment of carefree friendship, creating long
lasting feel-good memories. This is the story for Chloé SS2015 Ad Campaign. Greatest friend, Chloe aspirational flou, Seaside retreat, wistful reflections, Idyllic summer, noble companions, secrets shared. A light sea breeze tousles their flaxen curls and the flurried drape of
silk crèpe, mousseline, and lace, each precious fabric telling its own story.
Like Chloé icons brought to life, two majestic horses stride alongside as
peaceful companions, their finery reflected in the elegant hardware of the Faye
satchel and Drew bag swung gracefully across one shoulder.
A new lightness permeates each image in the latest chapter of Inez & Vinoodh’s photographic oeuvre for the Maison. The dynamic series captures cinematic movement and a spirit of adventure, as through their lens the Chloé girls seem to float nymph-like in the season’s effortless gowns and downtown separates. Model Caroline Trentini embodying the ideal of a fresh-faced natural beauty, Caroline’s naïve sensuality channels the season’s light and romantic spirit. Eniko Mihalik with her finely sculpted features, Eniko diffuses an innate exoticism, her enigmatic gaze redefining the independent spirit of today’s Chloé girl.
“This season I was searching for a truly iconic 70’s beauty. Both Caroline and Eniko have that look, so indicative of the 70’s era; the unkempt hair, fresh natural radiance, soft freckles and sun-blushed skin that reminds me so much of the women of that period,” says Clare Waight Keller, Chloé Creative Director.
