CIAK - In The
Kitchen, Hong Kong’s first refined Italian trattoria, is
honoured with one star from the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2015 ten months after opening. To
celebrate this remarkable achievement, a star-studded cocktail reception was hosted
at the trattoria. Dr. Peter Lam, Chairman
of Lai Sun Group,
Chef Umberto Bombana, Culinary Advisor of CIAK - In The Kitchen and Owner &
Executive Chef of three Michelin-starred restaurant 8½
Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA, and
celebrities including Kevin Cheng, Alex Lam, JW, Mark Lui, Joey Tang, Ana R, Karen Lam, Tak Fan Au-Yeung, Cherrie Choi, Charles Ying, Gabe Shum and Jesper Mcilroy.
The highlight of the evening was a private dinner held in the main dining room of CIAK - In The Kitchen, which was decorated with 100 gold star-shaped balloons in celebration of their Michelin star status and filled with the coziness of an Italian home.
An exclusive 6-course menu offered handmade pasta following traditional Italian recipe, the finest sirloin seared to perfection and other comforting dishes made only with the freshest seasonal ingredients.
