Actor, stand-up comedian, stage performer and film director to be Jim Chim is no stranger to the local scene and also to all fellow immigrant Chinese around the world. Chim's sense of humor with originality, his solo performances on stage and movies left plenty laughter for his audience to bring home. The godfather of the comedian told mylifestylenews his passion and ideal way to spread the message of happiness to every corner of the world within his reach......

Team work is very important to me and I enjoy working in a team. It is like a soccer team, someone has play the goalkeeper, mid field or the striker. My role play in my work is always the striker, I am always the front line person.

Team work needs lots of planning too in order to make thing work, intriguing strategy is a must. What goes around comes around.

You either get the instant fame and win everybody's heart or you'll fail everyone. All the eyes are on you, you must be fully prepared to receive the accomplishment or being asked to step down right away.

I used to play soccer while I was younger but never have thought of being a footballer. And now I don't think I have the energy and strength to run around on the field anymore, the age is catching up.

I enjoy the impromptu acting and the response, it is the moment of satisfaction no one can understand but yourself while you are standing on the stage.

Acting and performance to me is a form of expression, not like team work. It is for me to express my views and thoughts, it is a form or method and ways to deliver the message to the audience through my emotion.

In my performance, my message is to deliver joy and happiness through current social issues and affairs. I talked about it and laughed about it and made fun out of it. After all, blissfulness is what everyone wants to have and to spread out the happy message to all their friends through the word of mouth.

Being an actor, there is no such thing for a particular role that you like or wish to play. An actor shall be more open minded and accept whatever role is given and play it with your own expression. You must first to satisfy yourself and use your very own ability to express and bring out the best in the role in your performance.

The most challenging role is the coming play that I am preparing as I will play 50 different roles in one performance. That is the challenge that I am living with now.

In the coming days, I would like to make my own movie and direct a film. I won't tell you what genre yet as I am working on it now.

What I would also like to achieve beside acting and stage performance is to provide training in acting and communication.To develop self management training to all kind of walks of life. It would be my other breakthrough for my "future" career.

The is always a possibility to work with someone who do not have any acting experience at all. Lately, I just did one show with someone from the finance and baking background and the spark that we have was beyond of expectation. It is always possible!

My ideal way of perfect happiness is when I wake up every morning, I am able to receive the day with smiles. That would make a perfect day for me to go on with.

My greatest fear is not being able to have a proper sleep.

I do not have any greatest regret in my life.

The living person that I admire the most is the present President of the United State, Barack Obama.

My greatest extravagance is when I do not need to work.

My favorite journey is NOW

I only lie when I do not wish the situation become worst.

My favorite possession is to own a small island.

My ideal way of living lifestyle is being able to have plenty of laughter and happiness.

My current state of mind is happy and calm.
