The new Gucci Eyewear Collection introduces a sophisticated range of sunglasses and optical frames that reference the House’s icons for a contemporary yet timeless appeal. Designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini, the various models include innovative and alluring materials, developed according to the craftsmanship standards for which Gucci has become renowned. A hint of the 1980s appears on sunglasses with boldly assertive volumes, as shown on Gucci’s Fall Winter runway. The House’s chic femininity characterizes this vintage-shaped optical model featuring a sophisticated striated acetate effect in shades of brown, purple, grey and blue, with same-color or contrasting temples carrying an understated ‘Gucci" logo.
