Gucci Children has attracted an enthusiastic following since its debut in Hong Kong last November. This year, Gucci opening of the new boutique in Causeway Bay Lee Gardens Two. Meanwhile, Gucci is proud to make a one million US dollar donation to UNICEF’s “Schools for Africa ” initiative for the second year in a row on behalf of Gucci’s Children Collection, to give back to the community.
The 525 sq/ft boutique inherits Frida Giannini’s design concepts and is an extension of the Gucci flagship store’s design aesthetics and extravagance. The boutique contains infant and children’s ready-to-wear collection, clothing, shoes, scarves, belts, accessories and sunglasses.
A Christmas card making workshop was available to encourage the younger generations to spread love around and live up to the giving spirit of Christmas. Children and their parents flexed their creative muscles to create their unique Christmas cards that featured Gucci’s Teddy Bear and sincere blessings. The greeting cards will be delivered to children in the Third World countries through UNICEF, sending the warmest wishes, love and support to the underprivileged.
