Brioni AW2021 Collection

Brioni AW2021 Collection paves the way for a new day and is a narrative journey from darkness to light. As a reaction to the current times, the wardrobe for the season follows a softening of codes, where classic tailoring meets function and reveals an impeccable silhouette on garments crafted for broader and more casual use.

Epitomizing Norbert Stumpfl’s emblematic point of view for the House, the design is essential and intentionally understated, almost absent. The Roman nonchalance, integral to the ethos of Brioni, is heralded through garments that let both fabric and construction trace the body lightly.

Precious materials and refined textures are significant but subtle. Hand spun and brushed cashmere, hand knitted cashmere and vicuna blends, the Spazzolino fabric and silk and cotton velvet are prominent. High quality selvage stretch denim is introduced, sustainably sourced and washed.

Leather blousons and coats, in soft deerskin and light nappa, bear high quality details and hand painted raw edges, inspired by luxury accessories. The color range spans from black and white to beige, brown, dusty pink and icy blue, cascading into an excess of teal and gold.

Black is admitted a prominent place in the collection, a starting point and an expression of modernity and urbanity. Looks in tonal colors, inspired by functional workwear are significant.

Fabricated from exquisitely soft materials, these silhouettes are inspired by the traditional suit but aimed for a new and more casual context. The brand’s storied signature, the iconic formal suit, is introduced in a new light weight construction, featuring a larger lapel inspired by the Brioni archive and embellished by a myriad of heritage tailoring details.

Extravagant eveningwear brings the decadence of Rome to mind, with bold colors and precious fabrics inspired by the House’s rich history. The jacquard silk fabric finds its inspiration from the 60’s and the gold tuxedo is crafted from a fabric exclusive to only Brioni and the Vatican. Brioni reveals a new approach to dressing that is bright and promising.
