Celebrated by the modern connoisseur throughout the world,
St. Regis heritage, timeless traditions and impeccable service are the
hallmarks of the St. Regis experience. mylifestylenews writes.
When travel plans are made, is location your prior
consideration when choosing a hotel? Would the innovative facilities or the
comfort of the bed be more important than the impeccable service that impresses?
With that in mind, The St. Regis Bangkok strives to make your stay exquisite with
a sense of luxury and a memorable one by its unprecedented excellence in
standards of hospitality, innovation and refinement.
There are quite a few centrally located luxury hotels in
Bangkok now that have the direct access and link to the BTS Skytrain via the skybridge.
The St. Regis Bangkok is with no exception and prestigiously located at
Bangkok’s prime shopping precinct on the bustling Rajadamri Road directly
overlooking the Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
The arrival experience at The St. Regis Bangkok will
certainly have you entering in a haven of luxury in style, with the soaring high ceilinged lobby that
is designed in a timeless and contemporary style décor. You are met with a long runway
carpeted flooring dividing both left and right of the lobby lounge with sleek
and modern lounge chairs and sofas on a mix of printed velvety fabrics
together with some earth tone colors that enhance the already cozy ambience. Natural lighting breaks through the uninterrupted glassed wall making an
ideal place for a good afternoon tea get together.
The juxtaposition of the giant floor lantern ornaments
adds an artistic flair with sophistication adorned with lavish purple
orchids that sits on the round glass table top in the middle of the foyer, which is simply
tasteful and elegant.
Reception and check-in are done on the 12th floor next to the Sky Lobby as well as the all-day-dining Viu restaurant and both embrace an elevated view of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, and beyond.

Our room was assigned to a Grand Deluxe category (also
with the Royal Bangkok Sports Club & Golf Course view) with an exclusive
residential style that exudes Thai traditions and contemporary design. The
55sqm room offers an urban escape with sophisticated interiors featuring the
finest timber finishes and harmonized with an earth tone cream palette throughout.
The oversized bathroom can be accessed through sliding
doors from the bedside of the room or from a separate door next to the room
entry with His and Her marble sinks well allocated. The deep soaking tub may
have occupied half of the bathroom size and can be quite claustrophobic if and
when the sliding doors are closed. The mounted rainfall showerhead possesses strong pressure along side with some premium toiletries making your shower more
pleasing and not forgetting the plush St. Regis robe which is another delight from
the room amenities provided.
In spite of the excessive size of the chosen furniture
in consideration of the room size, it may have taken over the space somewhat, but it does not mismatch with the entire rooms décor. In addition, the signature St.
Regis Bed with designer 300-thread count linens ensure you will have a good
night sleep.
The St. Regis Butler Service has been a treasured
hallmark of the St. Regis experience for more than one hundred years. 24-hour Butler
service is offered here or eButler with services that are accessible at any
hour via email with request that are to be delivered with personal attention. No
request is too small or unattainable no matter what the hour of the day, the
personalized service ensures your unique preferences are understood and
addressed flawlessly during your stay. Indeed, our garment sent for pressing
was returned as the same day as requested and the heartfelt turndown rituals
with special amenities. We won’t tell you just yet what was offered but for you
to discover the enhanced refinement when you next stay here.
Surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape away from
the hustle and bustle of the city, the outdoor swimming pool is an oasis for
further relaxation.
Frangipanis and palm trees frame the pool side area with hedges of green, providing seclusion within this little haven along side with the traditional Thai towering lamps elegantly distributed around the pool area, which accentuate an even more prestige and prominent setting.
The in house Elemis Spa is
an additional sojourn of pampering and relaxation to unwind. When it comes to
dining, Jojo offers you a true taste of Italy
and be amazed by their well stocked wine selection from around the globe.
Breakfast is served on the 12th floor at VIU. With
a great Continental selection and local Thai delicacies to chose from, plus quite a few live cooking stations, they really cook up a storm for more than just a hearty breakfast. Even Khao
Mun Gai (Thai chicken rice) is served as well as Grilled pork belly. French
toast with passion fruits and mango is highly recommended or rejuvenate your
body with various vitamin intakes from its signature juice bar that offer a
great mix of natural fresh juices and smoothies that help to detox the excess
toxin from your body.
When contemporary luxury meets modern technology as well
as with some delectable gastronomy that pampers your stay within the hotel
complex, The St. Regis Bangkok continues to echo the renowned standards of
hospitality and refinement to make every moment become a treasure while living
a life exquisitely home away from home.
