Bally’s Crew is expanding in range while getting smaller in size. The most adventuresome of the Bally family of backpacks, the men’s Crew evokes the travelling and explorative nature of its Swiss roots. For SS2019, the Alpine backpack style has shrunken a bit for days when the journey is short and sweet. Adding to the family is the Crew sling and messenger styles.
The Crew backpack has found more ways to reinvent itself for SS2019 beyond its size. In a nod to its urban trekking roots, a special brown leather style with gold foil stamping of the Bally name stands out. Another popular editorial style is made from faux shearling combined with tonal coloured leather front pockets and coordinating padded-for-comfort Chevron stripe straps. A new mesh back pocket is added for breathability. The front flap closure with prominent metal buckles with nylon pull straps and internal drawstring closure are now accompanied by a rubber Bally logo hang tag for added sportive appeal. Traditional styles come in a nylon and grained leather.
For days when even a smaller carryall is all that is needed, the new Cage sling bag and Catch Messenger styles complement the Crew backpack. The Cage continues an urban message with the brown leather and gold foil Bally logo stamp and features the same signature buckles and rubber logo hang tag with iconic Bally Bold logo strap for waist or shoulder. The Catch evokes a traditional messenger bag with more curved lines which also recalls a vintage bicycle bag. On the navy nylon style, the signature crew buckles are adorned with Bally stripe nylon pull tags that are repeated on the crossbody-convertible-to-sling strap.
