With
its precious fabrics and magnetic silhouettes, the collection glides across the
runway as a spellbound crowd looks on. In the front row or on the catwalk,
people have eyes for her only. Her luminous aura captures the attention. Her
boundless energy electrifies the room. Her radiant smile brings time to a halt.
Girl of Now. Cameras flash to capture her perfect look: casual
and subtly sophisticated in equal measure; Definitely
trendy, and yet so personal. She boldly grabs her girlfriends for some fun in
front of the camera. One last selfie to immortalise this special moment and
she’s already off, leaving a mysterious trail. The
city is hers. Life is hers. She’s
as free as the wind – nothing can stop her… An
elusive, beguiling blend. An utterly unique elixir that exudes all the facets
of almond. It was a challenge worthy of Sophie Labbé and
Dominique Ropion, two prodigious IFF perfumers who expressly concocted an
absolutely addictive almond imprint steeped in ELIE SAAB’s olfactory signature:
an irresistible Orange Blossom - Patchouli accord. Like
the sequins adorning the designer’s finest creations, pear and mandarin orange
bring sparkle. Fresh-roasted pistachio, inspired by Lebanon, reinforces the
fragrant aroma of bitter almond. But
the ultimate innovation of this scent is a flower created exclusively for Girl
of Now: The Ormond Flower. Fine-cut like a couture gown, it gradually unveils
its precious and gourmand facets thanks to an exclusive co-distillate:Orange
Blossom Absolute and bitter Almond Essence. Added
to a bouquet of White Jasmine and Magnolia blossoms, the new flower has a
boosting effect that amplifies the fragrance’s radiance, joy and femininity. Caressing
Cashmeran, enchanting Tonka Bean and
creamy Almond Milk make a
rich, luxurious and warm base, while Patchouli prolongs the mysterious
scent that lingers on the skin. The
couturier’s favourite scent, Orange Blossom Absolute, exudes its radiance and
innate grace. When distilled with bitter Almond Essence, this white flower is
enhanced with gourmand tones and a new sensuality. And the Ormond Flower is
born!
