VINIGA SS2016 Fashion Presentation

VINIGA, the new comer of this Hong Kong fashion brand opens its very first retail store in Sheung Wan recently and unveiling the debut SS2016 collection as well as the  contradictive subtly eccentric pre-fall Men and Woman collection <URBAN GLAM>.

Designer and founder Brigitte Da Silva brings you her classic shapes manipulated with conflicting textures and yarns. Maintaining the definitive Viniga color palette and structures this brand is known for.

A fashion design graduate, with a profound desire to explore the fashion world, started out as a youngling frequenting her parents clothing manufacturing plant. To her this was a playground and the start of a life long dream.Being exposed to the Garment industry throughout her childhood, it was inevitable that young Brigitte’s future was predicted in the Fashion World. Post-Graduation Brigitte earned a fare amount of experience working at her parents garment plant; whilst designing and constructing Couture Pieces for private clientele.

With Passion, Enthusiasm and Ambition, Brigitte soon landed a job in the commercial sector as a Jr. Designer for one of Cape Towns leading Design Houses. Taking all she’s learnt and consuming all experiences that came with the job, Brigitte soon excelled in various genres in the Clothing industry.

From Couture, Corporate, high fashion to leisure and sport for both Man and Woman. She also had a hand in designing Children’s wear for national stores.  Seasoned South African Fashion Designer, with all this experience and resolve, Brigitte travelled the globe in search of more exciting ventures.  Finding her self loving and living in Hong Kong16 years this June, calling this Asian Hub her home.

Prepare to be wowed with effortless wearing pieces from poplin shirts, leggings and tulle skirts to dramatic couture shapes, extreme visuals in faux fur with interesting use of sequent and shimmer. Call it Tank Girl meets Dior; Mad Max cleans up his look and decides to wear Viniga or something like that. Wear it, live it and love it. Simply that.

Inspired and compelled by the excitement of the City, Brigitte started her own Fashion Brand in 2008. Based in Hong Kong, determined to make her life long dream take off, she persisted in keeping her dream alive.

Creating seasonal collections for her luxury Brand VINIGA, she insists on maintaining her brand identity with the help of private clients and pop-up sales. Brigitte invites the newest challenge.

Separate from the exciting challenges of the Fashion Industry, Brigitte also frequents the music scene as a renowned Jazz Singer. Recording artist Brigitte (AKA) Brigitte Mitchell launches her 3^rd Jazz Album this March in Japan. Being a nominated Jazz Artist Brigitte shows passion and dedication in all she does.
