The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong x Burberry will host series of festive activities in December.
A quintessentially British afternoon tea will be presented in MO Bar and a festive beauty consultation at the Burberry Beauty Box, where you can discover the
Burberry Beauty collection. MO Bar will celebrate Burberry’s British heritage by arranging a traditional British afternoon
tea, using British ingredients. A selection of traditional British finger
sandwiches, not normally included in MO Bar’s famous contemporary afternoon tea, with
sumptuous fillings made according to home-style recipes, including festive favourites, smoked
salmon and roast turkey. A delicious British roast beef sandwich prepared with tangy homemade
horseradish sauce will tantalise the taste buds.
On the sweet side, guests can discover one of the Chef’s finest recipes for carrot cake, which is
filled with “Christmassy” cinnamon and finished with a fondant-glaze topping.
Other traditional British cakes offered will include chequered Battenburg, made with blueberry jam, Victoria Sponge, filled with clotted cream and strawberries, and delicious Bakewell tart. And, of course, no British tea would be complete without a basket of warm homemade scones to be enjoyed with clotted cream and a selection of English jams. Equally appetising, guests can discover the latest My Burberry fragrance and runway icons while enjoying a festive beauty consultation in the Burberry Beauty Box at Times Square. Limited invitation for MO Bar afternoon tea guests while stock lasts. Priced at HKD338, and includes three-tier tea set, five delectable pastries and choice of JING tea or coffee. Savour a glass of Ruinart Rose Champagne for an additional HKD $120. Afternoon tea is served from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are recommended and guests can book on +852 2132 0077 or by email at lmhkg-mobar@mohg.com
