BALLY FW2015 Men & Women Collection

BALLY FW2015 Men Collection influenced by the notion of an urban explorer and his effortless combination of old and new.

The collection includes bold statement pieces in exotic skins teamed with classic staples, inspired by the retro aesthetic of film director Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums.

These include a sunflower-yellow ostrich rain mac, paired with a double breasted camel suit and full length weasel coat in rich amber tones, over a fine gauge cashmere turtleneck and wool canvas trousers.

Shoes this season consist of updated classics such as our hiking boots and ‘Heimberg’ sneakers in an array of colours. New additions are the ‘Oakwell’ hightops and ‘Tourist’ sandals, whilst The ‘Scribe Novo’ collection and Swiss moccasin offer more formal shoe options.

The Crescent Toile range of bags introduced in Spring Summer continues into Autumn Winter and includes the new Crescent Toile luggage set.

A multitude of bags complete the collection and include totes, holdalls, portfolios and messenger bags to name a few, available in various leathers and exotic materials.

The undeniable style of icons such as Steve McQueen, Robert Redford and Peter Fonda is represented by chunky roll necks, tailored denim and a revisited motorcycle jacket in suede and grained leather.

Jackets and coats have also been updated in supple leathers, the camouflage Crest print and lightweight materials for Bally’s take on retro sportswear.

Throughout the collection, soft accessories like scarves are crated from a combination of lightweight fabrics and feature unique prints inspired by a mix of Bally’s heritage and near future.

The Women collection draws inspiration from the aesthetic of director Wes Anderson’s films and the mid to late 60s.

Teamed with a strong sense of eccentricity, the results are reinterpreted classics with an old world charm. The collection depicts pieces that are considered in their design and details, but worn and styled with nonchalance – a nod to Margot Tenenbaum.

An exercise in colour and texture, ready to wear pieces feature A-line silhouettes in a range of materials including coated tweeds, double-faced cashmeres, furs, supple nappa leathers and butter-soft alligator.

These are paired with bags based on timeless designs that consist of Bally staples like the ‘Corner’ and ‘Sommet’ bags together with new styles such as the ‘B-Turn’ top handle and ‘Eclipse’ shoulder bags.

Shoes are offered in a wide range of styles from pumps and flats in the ‘Tuxedo’ collection, to ‘Morsetto’ slingbacks and wedge boots in stretch leathers. “Overall this season, we’ve worked with literal retro references, paired with Bally’s heritage and know-how but rendered effortlessly.”
