H&M has found a home at Stanley’s iconic Murray House and is going to unveil to the public on 26 September, 2015. The grand opening will begin at 11am, all fashion lovers are welcome to witness the arrival of H&M in Stanley. Murray House is a 160-year old restored three-storey colonial building, stood in Central since 1844 as officers' quarters of the Murray Barracks and later moved to Stanley. H&M’s store design team retained and incorporated the architectural elements of Murray House when built this store. Black and white checker tile flooring and tailor-made wooden handrail are used in order to echo with the exterior currently used in Murray House.
The store size is 987 square meters with three levels containing ladies, teenagers and kids departments. In addition, an open ceiling is made on the second floor so the wooden slander roof structure of this monument can be preserved and seen. To celebrate the grand opening, the first customer in line will receive HKD 500 gift card and rest of the 99 customers will receive HKD 100 gift card. See you there!
