Ermenegildo Zegna
Couture FW2015/16 advertising campaign draws inspiration from the Eco-leader,
concept introduced by Stefano Pilati in his FW2015/16 collection,
and interprets the symphony of sustainability expressed by the fashion
show, organic reflection of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group over generations
commitment to social and environmental activities. The storytelling revolves around
the “urban” uniform of the Eco-leader where the product itself is the undisputed
protagonist, alluding to the ‘luxury of choice’ through its plethora of fabrics
as the archive Harris Tweed, the Zegna wools, the exclusive Double Century Cashmere,
selected for their authenticity and for their “recyclability”.
Soil and small green plants always portrayed together with hands are a recurring element in the campaign and reinforce the message of eco-solidarity, expressing a sense of environmental “protection” that is also reflected in the garments. Featuring a new graphic layout, evolution of the previous campaigns, the images express the modern and conscious aesthetic of the Eco-leader: a man respectful of people and the planet, able to explore uncommon paths and to look inside himself when committed to a cause, inspiring and influencing people with his sense of civic responsibility.
