ESCADA @ 2015 Pre Fall Collection

ESCADA 2015 Pre Fall Collection is in the spirit of dance, and in honor of the great doyennes of modern dance.

The origins of modern dance stem from one great woman, Isadora Duncan, who redefined the steps, movement and presentation of dance at the turn of the century.

Her spirit of innovation is here, as the color palette and prints take on an art deco graphic feel indicative of her time, while fabrics are explored in their lightness and texture for the body to move more freely.

A looped bow detail is seen throughout the collection, a subtle wink to the simple ties that close a dancer’s dress.

Ink blue, glossy nudes and pewter metallics contrast with deep spruce green and tivoli reds.

At the season’s finale, cocktail and evening gowns in ultra rich fabrications create a typical ESCADA encore.
