ESCADA SPORT SS2015 collection draws its inspiration from Jean Dubuffet, French sculptor and
painter, widely known for his authentic aesthetic.
The soft color palette for summer lends itself to the artist‘s humanistic and non conventional idea of beauty. Prints are drawn almost by hand, as an all over abstract floral and an iconic ESCADA leopard.
Both are playful in coloration and style. Block stripes are also printed in an irregular and painterly fashion and proportions are layered, just as his work.
Lightness is also evident in acrylic glass detailing and transparent knits. A Dubuffet inspired rose motif adds a witty, humoristic touch on blouses and jackets and finalizes this season’s feminine mood.
