October 1 to November 30, 2014. Inspired by
the launch of the innovative “GODIVA 2014 Chef Inspirations - Saveurs Du
Monde” chocolate-delicacy collection,
the two-part collaboration presents distinctive, exceptional menus created by
three renowned international master chefs: The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong’s
Executive Chef Peter Find and Executive Pastry Chef Richard Long , and GODIVA’s
Chef Chocolatier, Pacific Rim and
China, Philippe Daue. Together, they have perfected dishes and masterful
menus that celebrate premium chocolate and take guests on a sensuous tour of
five continents. The “GODIVA
2014 Chef Inspirations – Saveurs Du Monde” collection offers a global adventure touring Belgium, China, Japan,
Africa, America and Brazil and features premium chocolates delivered all in one box. Inspired
by creative culinary arts and the latest global gastronomic trends, GODIVA’s
international team of Chef Chocolatiers combined years of expertise and Belgian
savoir-faire, to create a
limited-edition collection that is sure to thrill even the most sophisticated
palates.

Offering an exclusive fine-dining experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, the “Saveurs Du Monde” Chef’s Table international dinner features a nine-course set menu inspired by the GODIVA 2014 Chef Inspirations - Saveurs Du Monde collection. Showcasing an array of premium chocolate including Costa Rica 30.5% white chocolate, Uganda 80% dark chocolate, Peru 64% dark chocolate, Costa Rica 64% dark chocolate and GODIVA 72% & 85% dark chocolate this exquisite savoury menu takes guests on a tour of Belgium, China, Japan, Africa, America and Brazil with specially sourced ingredients, such as kuromitsu molasses, Sichuan pepper, Belgian speculoos and West African cocoa nibs. Rounding off the gastronomic adventure is an unforgettable GODIVA chocolate dessert experience and, of course, GODIVA 2014 Chef Inspirations chocolates plus Brazilian coffee or Chinese smoked black tea.

Touted as an interactive dining exploration, every dish will be served with detailed explanations on the ingredients and cooking method, and guests are welcomed to ask questions and share feedback with the chefs. Located on the 102nd floor at 420 meters above sea level, the Chef’s Table is a private dining room with a separate sofa area and a spectacular harbour view. It features an open kitchen that offers a front-row view for the guests. The ambiance is intimate with the use of soft lighting and rich burgundy red furniture and fittings. “Our chef chocolatiers have been working on the “Chef Inspirations – Saveurs Du Monde” collection, combining unique flavours from around the world with GODIVA’s Belgian craftsmanship, for more than a year now. The “Saveurs Du Monde” Chef’s Table is available for a minimum spending of HK$16,000 + 10%, and can accommodate up to 8 guests.
