PONY x WISH x ATMOS Year of PONY & New York State of Mind introduces its latest collaboration with different partners featuring <PONY x wish> Down in Atlanta, Wish brings a Bulls-inspired motif to the party, with pony fur, pixel poppin’ 3M stripes and fortune cookie collages promising hope and good luck to all mankind.

  

<Year of PONY> Slamdunk Hi x Wish Black/Red. The Year of the horse has become the muse of our PONY x WISH Collaborative Endeavor, which we are zestfully calling the “good Fortune” Collection. This new Slamdunk rendition isn’t for the faint of foot. Featuring a black/red color blocking composition, it’s the pony hair juxtaposing hits of reflective materials that make these hustlers truly stand out. Sneakerheads can get their hands on these tricked out monsters from JUNE 2014 and a limited edition of pairs will be nestled in custom made wooden boxes, courtesy of Brooklyn’s Good Wood Fellows.

<PONY x Atmos> Headquartered in central Tokyo, but with a bricks and mortar outpost in Harlem, NYC, Atmos was tailor-made to collaborate with PONY under the “NY State of Mind” slogan. Using the Slam Dunk Hi as their canvas, Atmos kept the message simple, slapping their highcuts with acres of mint and red suede and references to Big Apple icons on the tongues.

<New York State of Mind> Slamdunk Hi x Atmos Statue of Liberty Green Every Inch of this shoe is designed to speak the narrative of PONY’s origin: The mint green upper makes a memorable appearance, reminiscent of the iconic statue of liberty. Atmos’ affinity with the slamdunk bestowed two memorable renditions of the model set apart by their unique color ways: Status of Liberty green and Big Apple red. Typical to New Yorkers’ “we tell it how it is” attitude, the combo pack comes in a straight forward purified upper made of premium soft suede sitting atop a vulcanized rubber sole. The Statue of Liberty printed sock liner will comfortably snug your feet.

<Slamdunk Hi x Atmos> Big Apple RED. PONY is releasing a “big apple” red counterpart, adorned with rich cultural symbols to exude the trailblazing empire city streets. The minimal styling is continued with tonal stitching, tonal eyelets and the Atmos logo etched on the heel strip with the recognizable symbols, like the I “chevron” NY woven onto the tongue label.
