Jaeger-LeCoultre opens its 6th boutique in Hong Kong at ifc mall recently. The new boutique heralds a design concept that embodies the 181 years of tradition of the watchmaking leader in its strive for aesthetic excellence as well as its insistence on premium materials and exquisite craftsmanship. The understated elegance of the 35 square meter boutique conjures up the peaceful and the idyllic allure of Vallée de Joux. The clean lines and classy natural materials are deliberated with professional flair to create an intimate and cozy viewing environment for watch lovers to discover and immerse themselves in the magnificent collections.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is gratified to present the newly-launched Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 for celebration of the boutique inauguration. The Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 comes in a comfortable width and height accentuated by a stunningly slender 7.2mm case that incorporates the complex parts of the swivelling mechanism as well as a movement measuring just 2.94 mm thin, together illustrating the skills of the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre in all fields of horology. As connoisseurs are well aware, the generous surface of its back is destined to fulfil its owner’s wish for personalization. Thanks to this surface that measures just a few square centimeters, the Reverso has been a horological work of art and an object of emotion, to be passed on or shared since the first launch.
The Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 is truly timeless and revives the spirits of a bygone era. It still featured the same characteristics that were soon to become truly timeless – while its intense blue hands and hour-markers pointed towards the aspirations of an era eager for renewal. In 1948 just as in 2014, the designers of the Manufacture made sure to display the inscription “Fabriqué en Suisse” (made in Switzerland) on the dial, just below the Jaeger-LeCoultre signature. Fitted with an alligator leather strap featuring a steel pin buckle, the new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948 is available exclusively at Jaeger-LeCoultre IFC Mall boutique in Hong Kong.
