Issey Miyake launches its 2014 Summer fragrances shedding their minimalist codes to share a
new olfactory emotion in a splash of colours. Enjoy a moment of pure relaxation by the pool...The water’s surface sparkles under the sun... Breathe and dive into the magic of the summer
lights...Composed by Alberto Morillas (Firmenich), the new
Summer fragrances offer a fresh and colourful summer hiatus, for just one season. L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Summer Eau de Toilette echoing the women’s version, the perfumer chose to evoke the bursting
freshness of
kiwi combined with the spicy, fruity notes of coriander and slightly
bitter grapefruit,
which instantly set the tone in the top notes. Then come pineapple and nutmeg in
the middle accord. To these fruits and spices
Alberto Morillas added woods, which bring verticality and depth. The sillage is
sensual and vibrant thanks to a duo of vetiver and cypress.
L’Eau d’Issey Summer Eau de Toilette is cheerful, feminine fruity
floral fragrance by drawing from the tangy notes of pink grapefruit and litchi. A profusion of crisp freshness
that he mixed with the sparkling accents of passion
fruit and guava in the middle notes. Lastly, to enhance these
scents with a feminine touch, they were softened with very subtly aquatic
floral notes before blending into the fullness of the woods and the vanilla infusion.
