Tory Burch Spring 2014 Collection is
inspired by a famous character in La Piscine, a French movie from the 1960s,
played by celebrated actress Romy Schneider. Combining her personality traits in
the film with floriculture elements, Tory Burch has managed to bring a sense of
stylish spring bloom to the line.
Schneider’s character in the film spends her time residing in beautiful villas on the French Riviera, revealing her sun-kissed tan while sunbathing, dipping her toes in the cool water by the seaside, and dancing to retro disco music.
This romanticism as an artistic expression is revealed in blueprint, botanical themes, lattice patterns, Queen Anne’s lace and folly prints paired with cleaner silhouettes and proportions in a fresh palette of green, white, and coral.
