BERLUTI Reopens in Prince's Building Hong Kong

Berluti announced the reopening of its fourth store in Prince’s Building mall, Hong Kong recently. The newly refurbished 171 sqm space provides all of the customary Berluti attentions: a dedicated patina bar, a special orders service, custom leather tattoos and of course, the VIP Bespoke space. Designed with the new architectural concept, the new store aims for the same balance between tradition and modernity that characterise Berluti’s products. Attention to the quality of details and finishes are the key values of construction. A whiskey coloured façade sets a tone of gentlemanly luxury, while inventive applications of delicately stitched Venezia leather – the emblematic patinated leather of the House adorn armchairs, walls and floors.

The foundations of Berluti date back to Paris in 1895 and have been built by four generations of the Berluti family, who cultivated an exceptional know-how in the mastery of last making, a deep understanding of fine footwear and a passion for leather and patina. Berluti today is far more than a bootmaker, in 2005 fine leather goods were introduced and, in 2011, with the appointment of Artistic Director, Alessandro Sartori, a complete clothing collection. Today Berluti’s bespoke and ready-to-wear collections of shoes and clothing offer a vocabulary for menswear that is innovative yet faithful to its tradition. Attention to detail and respect for skill in cutting and assembling form the cornerstones of Berluti’s culture. In 2013, Berluti expanded its network of stores, including Maisons in Paris, London, Shanghai and Tokyo and soon New York.
