Tory Burch Celebrates the ‘Be Inspired’ Campaign
Supporting Female Empowerment at Lane Crawford. As an advocate of
Hong Kong’s fearless women, Lane Crawford shines the spotlight on female
empowerment in its new ‘Be Inspired’ campaign, which was launched personally by
the designer and CEO Tory Burch at a cocktail event
on October 22 at Lane Crawford ifc mall. To commemorate the
collaboration, Tory Burch and Lane Crawford
presented a special limited-edition tote bag exclusively to benefit The Women’s
Foundation of Hong Kong, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the
lives of women and girls in Hong Kong.
Capturing the spirit of the campaign’s powerful message, these 300 limited edition Tory Burch tote bags are available at Lane Crawford ifc mall and online at www.LaneCrawford.com for HKD1,300. All of the proceeds will go directly to The Women’s Foundation of Hong Kong. The tote marries fashion with philanthropy, completed with a hang tag that proudly bears the message: ‘I support The Women’s Foundation by carrying this bag’.
Both the Tory Burch Foundation and The Women’s Foundation believe that mentoring plays a key role in helping women break through the glass ceiling to achieve their full potential. To this end, ‘Be Inspired’ presents the uplifting stories of Vicky Wu, Co-founder of ZAOZAO; Janice Chan Choy, Co-chair of the Hong Kong Ballet Guild; and Jeanine Hsu, Founder of eco-luxe jewellery brand niin. In their 20s, 30s and 40s, these three Hong Kong women are all former participants of The Women’s Foundation Mentoring Programme for Women Leaders, which is similar to the Tory Burch Foundation’s mentoring initiative. They are strong individuals who have found success and prominence in different fields.
