COACH announced an
exclusive collaboration with Chen Man, one of China’s most influential fashion photographers,
to shoot its Fall 2013 footwear collection. Chen captures a series of
lifestyle images that are inspired by the elegant and effortlessly stylish
Coach woman following the theme of “follow her steps,” the images depict a day
in Chen’s life as told from the perspective of her footwear. The work
conveys the energy and creativity that are so reflective of Coach as a
quintessential New York brand.
The Coach Fall 2013 footwear collection combines exceptional leathers and impeccable craftsmanship with key trends of the season perfect for the modern woman. Accented with trademark features such as custom hardware detailing, Coach footwear also infuses the brand’s use of mixed materials and color blocking. Printed fabrics, python embossing and bicolor patent enrich this season’s fashion forward designs which range from sleek flats to refined pumps.

The age-old adage of ‘walking in someone else’s shoes’ served as an inspiration for the shoot.
