Bally AW2013 Everest Capsule Collection celebrates
the 60th anniversary of the Mt. Everest. To coincide with this month’s 60th
Anniversary of the first summit of Mt Everest in May 1953, exclusive items
including ‘Vincens’ boot for men, ‘Hillary’ boot for women and ‘Himalaya’
Made-To-Order boot for men are now available worldwide. Every piece from this
collection demonstrates a perfect balance of contemporary design and traditional
craftsmanship by featuring Bally’s re-engineered ‘360 Degree Non-Slip Grip’ and
Double stitch Norwegian construction. Special window project and in-store podium themed
around the contour of Mt. Everest and climbing tools are designed by Chameleon, an international renowned firm that serves high end and
luxury clienteles, and will be installed in selected stores worldwide including
Pacific Place, Elements and Times Square in Hong Kong. The <Himalaya boot> in shaved deer skin is the re-edition of the original boot worn
by Tenzing. Made-to-order only, Himalaya boot takes around 8 weeks to process.
When Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Mt. Everest wearing a pair of highly technical Bally crafted reindeer boots 60 years ago. Following the celebratory launch in May, the entire Everest collection comprises of ready-to-wear and leather goods will be revealed in October to complete the range of the Everest concept. <Hillary Boot> The women’s ‘Hillary’ boot is developed with a
special form and function in luxurious washed calf leather. Made in extremely
lightweight that provides exceptional comfort all year.
<Vincens Boot> The
weatherproof exterior of the Vincens alpine boot covers a lace-up interior as
part of a dual-layer system designed to protect the foot and ankle while
ensuring the boots wears well. Cashmere lined and built on a waterproof sole.
