Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon continue his epic journey to fulfill his destiny and teams with his demigod friends to retrieve the Golden Fleece, which has the power to save their home and training ground, Camp Half-Blood. <Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters> is almost a movie that consists of Harry Potter + Narnia + Jack The Giant Slayer + X-Men and other newly added teenage god-spawn and (The Lord of The Ring) creatures. These combination created a full on entree on your dinner plate which seems to be there will still be lots more to come before dessert is served. This pretty preteen adventure action packed unfortunately also waterlogged with characters and plots that can't help but feel derivative. Greek Mythology novels or movie has never stopped having its followers to believe in their Olympian God of Commerce for its far from reach and yet plenty of unexpected and interesting characters to be appeared one after another. It will then be translated to endless excitement either from the best-selling young adult mythology novel series or the movies. Both faithful fans would never let go with such fantasy component especially when special effects is added to excite and widen their imagination of the supernatural power of endless possibilities. Once the mythology is being monkeyed with, the level of believe will decrease unless the fantastical goods are delivered. <Percy Jack Sea of Monsters> bears the burden for not delivering a smooth ride and yet making it a formulaic routine with numerous familiarity.
