Miuccia Prada X costumes designer Catherine Martin held an exhibition of the film <The Great Gatsby> dress in Prada Epicenter in Tokyo Aoyama recently coincided with the Japanese premiere of the movie. The exhibition titled Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada Dress Gatsby and curated by new York Studio 2x4 includes women's gowns, dresses, hats, shoes and jewelry as well as sketches, production stills, backstage footage and film trailers.
The show reflects the unique characteristic of each location, In Tokyo, the display and mannequins are designed to fit into the unique interior of the Herzog & de Meuron-designed interior. The display includes full scale, full body portraits of many of the actress in costume and character sketches drawn from Catherine martin's extensive research.
