Dustin Hoffman's Directorial debut hasn't let anyone down. Seemingly, the movie was made for his "age group" but it wasn't completely true as this sweet, gentle, humorous film suits everyone with phenomenal talented cast's amiable charm make <Quartet> so irresistible and revival. Besides, don't know to know or understand the classical music or opera to enjoy this movie, the film itself is full of bright and sparkling lines that enough to keep you on your seat for not going anywhere (if you were to watch it from home, of course not). You got to see lots of love and glorious friendships in this film, somehow or rather, we may find yourself when you begin to get older particularly in the late life, the wants and needs are less important (health aside) but needing the attention especially from somehow you love becoming a little more infantine and to learn how to put your pride down may be overlooked. Hoffman's passion for the classical music and opera is unquestionable even the focus are on the drama inside the quartet and integrating everyone to maintain an energetic environment. Hoffman has gracefully orchestrated the story's emotional while the story develops. Having such a grand time working with all great casts is truly a blessing and you won't believe that this is Hoffman's directorial debut, it may mark a late-career surprise from a master actor for him. Salut!! Mr. Hoffamn.
