<Oblivion> tells the story of Jack Harper (Tom Cruise), the last remaining human on earth and the man who responsible for repairing the drones that serve as resource harvesters for mankind's second chance on one of Saturn's far away moons. On a spectacular future earth that has evolved beyond recognition, this interesting sci-fi concept with a reality that is shattered when Harper discover the shocking truth that connect him to earth of the past. For a hero to save our world which was soon to be lost forever, <Oblivion> stunning production set gives a great visionary effect especially the breathtaking temporary sky "Home" with a sky pool from thousands of feet above and Harper 's high tech zero gravity pod racer flight. This bug budget, epic sci-fi film is still engaging enough most of the way, the first half of the movie was rather intriguing but the second half appears to be a bit lazy in screenwriting with predicted development. However, M83's techno-bass centric soundtrack electronically beats bursting through the movie gives an audio experience as splendid as the visual on screen. It is not one the best sci-fi film in years but also not the worst, at least, it gives you a new world's vision of our destroyed planet with a class of sensitivity of luxury in living sky high.
