MCM Opens Flagship Premiere @ Switzerland

MCM opens their latest flagship boutique at the premier locale for luxury in Switzerland: Zurich. Located at the heart of the Old Town in Münsterhof, the latest première heralds the brand’s first major launch nationwide, celebrating their Swiss expansion with style and introduces a picturesque ambiance fusing Swiss heritage with contemporary European culture. 

 The latest boutique is designed as an enhancement of MCM’s distinctive aesthetic featuring a harmony of artisanship and modernity, purveying a luxurious brand experience. Comprised of 160m², the latest flagship inaugurates a majestic new interior concept featuring a uniquely conceived golden façade boasting a decadent never-before-seen aesthetic, purveying an artistic concert of contemporary clean lines with subtle neutral tones and touches of tradition, inspired by MCM’s signature brass plate designs. 

  

The interior design allows for sweeping views throughout the exhibition panels, offering a variety of spatial experiences which affords a unique character to each of the different product ranges on display. For the first time, the Zurich flagship also introduces an exclusive space for consumers to experience MCM’s characteristic brand environment, featuring a theatrical media wall comprised of nine 3 X 3 screens.  

Conceived as the nexus of heritage, the extraordinary media space was designed as an opportunity to not only immerse within MCM’s iconic spirit, but to reach consumers’ emotions to deliver lasting brand value to convey the experience of a transcending voyage. The first of its kind on the MCM storefront, the latest ‘Crossed for Zurich’ boutique design harmonises the brand’s pride for heritage with contemporary communications through colossal digital installations and in-store iPads, in a past-meets-future design for the first time.

The store making the new cosmopolitan destination designed to be one of MCM’s premier architectural landmarks for their latest collections in Europe. MCM injects their renowned Munich vibe into the lavish new boutique with their complete product range as well as an exclusive item to come. Alongside their latest seasonal items, MCM also presents a new lifestyle concept for the highly-anticipated next generation of collections.
