Durian Tram @ Party in Hong Kong

Fans of Duran Duran do not get too excited, it is the Durian tram Party and you won't be meeting Duran Duran (we wish they were here). As the durian season is approaching, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Hong Kong Office) launched the “Durian Tram Party” recently. Starting from Whitty Street, the tram with unlimited durian serving during the trip, passes through Sheung Wan, Central, Wan Chai and stop at Causeway Bay. 

This time, 20 durians fans were invited from the facebook fan page of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Hong Kong Office) and EGL Tours sampling the season's favorite. “Durian Tram Party” together with “Deluxe Durian Tour” organized by EGL Tours was also officially launched on 9th May 2013. 

Malaysia offers a very high quality of durians. Some of the best durians in Malaysia come from the durian orchards in Penang.  Malaysia durians in Hong Kong are limited in supply thus the price is expensive. Joining the  “Durian Tour” to Malaysia, is one of the best way to taste the fresh and delicious durian.
