It is still better than we thought, at least Antoine Fuqua's tense direction and a strong performance from Gerald Butler enough to please the action junkies. At least it gives us a chance we have a chance to "see" more what beneath the White House in a different perspective and the total damage of it being torn off pieces by pieces. It is loud, violent, patriotic and can one man really save the whole country by going on solo? OK, Agent Mike Banning (Butler) is a Special Forces-trained and have extensive knowledge of the White House interior and is one of the best among others and still, it is not enough. What would made the other agents looks like for not being able to protect their homeland and the President....Hmmm, that is another doubt laying beneath for it is only just a movie, and itis just a typical slab Hollywood movie to be precise. Make no mistake, the film is bad more often than it is good.
