INFINITI @ F1-Themed Grand Launch Event in Hong Kong

INFINITI have been synonymous with emotive styling, inspired performance and intuitive technology since its launch in 1989 in the United States. Bringing its premium vehicles to Asia, Infiniti names Hong Kong its global headquarters and is the title partner of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One team, partnership with Honest Motors as its exclusive dealer and launching the brand in the city as Infiniti Hong Kong. 

To celebrate this exciting milestone, Infiniti Hong Kong hosted a cocktail press conference was held showcasing an exhibition with a purple and roses theme to match the brand’s signature colour. Along with the display of the Infiniti FX, M and G models, guests also got an exclusive look at the RB9 Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One car.

Infiniti's global footprint expanded into Canada in 1990, Taiwan in 1997, the Middle East in 2004, Korea in 2005 and Russia in 2006. In 2008 Infiniti launched in Western and Central Europe which has added 19 additional markets. Infiniti is sold globally in over 47 markets to date.

Since May 2012, Infiniti Motor Company Ltd.'s new global headquarters is situated in Hong Kong, headed by Johan de Nysschen as President of Infiniti on 1 July. Since the 2011 season Infiniti has been a major partner of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team. In 2013, three-time world champion Sebastian Vettel was appointed Infiniti's Director of Performance and will play an integral role in the development of future models. The team will be known as Infiniti Red Bull Racing from 2013 season as the relationship evolves to make Infiniti the title partner and lead technical partner with a shared engineering expertise that benefits for the race track and the road.
