You don't really have to watch the movie to enjoy this lovingly curated soundtrack. It is simple a great classic nostalgia sound of the Western. Every classic film of Quentin Tarantino lurks a stellar soundtrack and <Django Unchained> is unexceptional. He re-creates a new experience for his viewer and listener and influence them from the old transforms into new. This time Tarantino teamed up with Ennio Morricone's style of the 60's spaghetti Western theme jangling guitars and rousing orchestral to create a more vintage and rustic mood, another swell classic to leave the name on music history. Tarantino's works of connoisseurship pop culture are always larger than life and it is all over the place. Besides, the soundtrack also uses a variety of music genre like the acoustic blues and the 70's folk rock. Tracks composed for the film are <100 Black Coffins> by Rick Ross and produced by and featuring Jamie Foxx. <Who Did That To You?> by John Legend, <Freedom> by Anthony Hamilton and Elyane Boynton, <Ancora Qui> by Ennio Morricone and Elisa. These four songs were all contenders for an Academy Award nomination in the Best Original Song category but unfortunately one of them were eventually nominated. The soundtrack also includes 7 tracks hilarious dialouge in between the songs and are excerpts from the film. <Django Unchained> is one of the must-have albums for the year and calls for the years best soundtrack is simply unquestionable.
