BLANCPAIN opened two new boutique at ifc mall
in Central and a flagship
store at 1881 Heritage in Tsim Sha Tsui on the same day continuing the sensation of the opening on Russell Street in Causeway Bay last
September. The dazzling Blancpain
Saint-Valentin 2013 for women and the Villeret damascened dial adorned
with a dragon were showcased at the opening of the ifc mall.
“It is my
pleasure to present the new Blancpain boutiques to double our total number of
retail locations to four in Hong Kong . With
the opening of the boutiques, we
are able to further promote the watchmaking
expertise of Blancpain that has been accumulated
since our foundation in 1735, and present the products of such expertise to watch aficionados
and collectors in town.” Marc Junod, Vice President Head of Sales, Blancpain SA remarked.
While at the opening of the 1881 Heritage boutique, exquisite Blancpain
timepieces from the brand’s Women and Villeret Collection were showcased. The 1,887 sqf boutique is the largest store in town and the elegant décor
reminiscent of the Blancpain manufacture in Switzerland and the masterpieces on display, including the Villeret
Traditional Chinese Calendar in platinum, the signature timepiece of Blancpain
in 2012.
Junod once again emarked, “As the world’s
oldest watchmaking brand, Blancpain has been standing on its tradition and investing in innovation over its
history of 278 years and has
become a leader of the horological scene. The opening of the Blancpain Boutiques in Hong
Kong today will further expand the brand’s presence in the city
and bring our masterpiece
creations to watch fans in this elegant and comfortable environment.”
