A. Lange & Sohne won the reader's award of UHREN MAGAZIN and FOCUS for the "Golden Balance 2013". In the top category "Watches priced over 25,000 Euro" and the winner was the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR, which has been launched only last year. Impressive 21.5 per cent of all participants have voted for the Lange timepiece. This was the highest number of votes given to one model in the whole competition. The SAXONIA THIN received the second prize in the category "Watches priced up to 25,000 Euro". The two awards were accepted by Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid at a gala evening in Munich's BMW museum recently.
Since 1998. the readers of the German watch journal, UHREN MAGAZIN, the news magazine FOCUS and the users of "Focus-Online" vote for their favorites. In a two-stage procedure, more than 25.000 participants had to choose between 426 mechanical watches. To date, timepieces of A, Lange & Sohne have been awarded 14 times with a first prize and made it 23 times into the top three in this competition.
