MIU MIU Opens First Store @ Austria

 Miu Miu reaches Austria for the first time, with the opening of a mono-brand store in Vienna's Tuchlauben Straße, the city's prestigious shopping destination. The store has a total surface of 540 square metres on two levels, and it offers the ready-to-wear, bags, footwear and accessories collections. This project, designed by Architect Roberto Baciocchi, is defined by its sophisticated aesthetics; the environment looks like a mysterious treasure room where products are displayed like unique fine jewellery pieces.

The outer façade anticipates the store's great personality, with its windows framed in brown marble and in backlit perforated metal screen.The ground floor offers the bags, footwear and accessories collections, presented in safe-shaped displays covered in golden damask fabric.

 An elegant glass staircase, covered in damask and studs, leads to the ready-to-wear floor, where outfits are displayed in a sophisticated, charming setting. An intimate and sophisticated atmosphere - in keeping with the brand's image - is created by salons furnished with sofas and armchairs, also covered in damask.
