Ermenegildo Zegna recently dressed Hong
Kong superstar Leon Lai with its SS2013 Collection to support his
new role as the Ambassador of Entertainment Expo Hong Kong. Ermenegildo Zegna and Lai have collaborated
since 2009, Lai not only attended the brand’s Milan
Fashion Show in 2010 and 2011 as the guest-of-honor, but also met the fourth
generation of the Zegna family and became the first ever celebrity that visited
Villa Zegna at Trivero, the legendary historic mansion of the Italian luxury
brand.
A video featuring Leon, the Ambassador of Entertainment Expo, promoting the momentous event and Hong Kong’s film, TV and entertainment industry was open on 9 February at nearly 50 cinemas in Hong Kong. Leon wore total looks from Ermenegildo Zegna Spring Summer 2013 Collection for the whole project, including the video and advertising campaign photos, enriching the campaign with his overwhelming elegance and confidence. Ermenegildo Zegna’s SS2013 Collection focuses on the Italian sartorial tradition and the brand’s new interpretation of silk - ZegnaSilk. Being a rare fabric, silk is so soft and light that has become synonymous to elegance and beauty. ZegnaSilk lends an innovative edge to technical fabrics, a lightweight elegance to summer apparel and a luxurious softness to winter clothes.
Ermenegildo Zegna SS2013 Collection is created for the contemporary gentlemen who are self-assured. They appreciate the value of impeccably tailored suits and beautifully crafted accessories. Lai wore 2 formal oufits and 3 smart casual looks in the promotional images of the Expo, illustrating the luxurious yet subtle styling recommedations from Ermenegildo Zegna for gentlemen. “I am delighted and honored to be the Entertainment Expo Ambassador,” said Mr Lai. “While the Expo attracts entertainment industry professionals from Asia and around the world, many of its events are also open to the general public. I encourage people to take part. I would also like to thank Ermenegildo Zegna for providing me with their sophisticated wardrobe for this special occasion”.
