CZ12

Jackie Chan is back!!! and backed to his 80's & 90's blockbuster action comedy with a global-trotting romp trying-to-be-cute action hero. The aggressively multi-national casts was designed to cater for the maximum market appeal for an obvious reason. Hailing form South Korea, China, the USA and France and spoken in four languages and shot in Paris, Taiwan and the South Pacific. It was so branded for Chan's film. The repeatable formulated film is mindless, silly and without any hesitation with almost zero emotional acting occurred. It was rather annoying with the acting in disguise and for sure it is going to be an uphill battle for this vehicle with Chan gradually being dislike by his Hong Kong movie goers. This could still make a triumphant return for the US market for those martial arts lovers since Kung Fu will never go our of fashion especially for those who fall for Indiana Jones + Tomb Raider's combination. If you are opt for solely just an entertainment movie per se without using so much of your brain to work out what's next shall be done, spend 2 hours enjoying the giggle and leaving the cinema with no hesitation. Go for it!! Mind you, the best for JC's movies is to stay on when credit rolls for the behind the scenes candid shots.
