AQUA voted "Ospitalita Italiana" Awards @ Best Italian Restaurant in Hong Kong

Aqua is voted the best Italian restaurant in Hong in the prestigious "Ospitalita Italiana' Awards endorsed by the Italian Chamber of Commerce. The awards have been awarded in Italy for many years and are recognized as the hallmark of excellence in Italian cuisine and hospitality. This is the first that the prestigious awards have been extended globally. Aqua had certainly added another credit on its wall for not just being one of the most exciting and chic bar/restaurant with just only a stunning harbour view but with real honor in the hospitality scene.

Founder of the Aqua Restaurant Group, David Yeo held a special gala dinner for the prominent members of the Italian community including the General Manager of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Hong Kong and Macau, Manuele Bosetti who presented him the awards.

 

The award dinner was prepared by the Aqua Roma's Executive Chef Giuliano Dacasto perfected his craft is several Michelin-starred establishments like Restaurante Le Calandre in Padova, Da Bracali in Massa Marittima and II Convivio Troiani in Rome. The dinner menu of the night included the Blue fin tuna tartar with lime segments, pink pepper and fresh herbs, aside a Pommery mustard and yogurt sauce and a green apple coulis as the starter.

 

 

It was then followed by the Veal Shank stuffed ravioli served in a porchini mushroom sauce with shaved truffle. There are 2 main course to chose from, the Cod fillet glazed with orange caramel on roasted salsify and a martini sauce or the Slow cooked Marsala beef cheek with fresh herbs potato puree. The Shot strawberry and cachaca with mint cream and almond mousse with pear and red wine heart, glazed with chocolate and Cinnamon for dessert is something just perfect to end the meal.
