LONGCHAMP @ LA MAISON Canton Road Flagship Grand Opening Party

Longchamp opened its new latest flagship on Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui and held a grand opening party at Pier 3 Car Park and transformed into a futuristic space to celebrate the auspicious occasion together with the Cassegrain's family and international renowned top model Coco Rocha.

The La Maison Canton Road flagship continues Longchamp’s thirty-year plus relationship with the region and is one of Longchamp’s largest. It was created by renowned architect Eric Carlson and his Carbondale team. The 190-square-metre flagship features a striking and evocative glass façade that allows natural light to flood each of the three floors. It is the latest expression of Longchamp’s global store design concept, which brings together the historic heritage of this family company with its creative, contemporary products and elegant style.

Three-storey flagship store also introduced the limited edition clutch bag, La Maison Canton Road. Launched exclusively for the opening of the new flagship, the clutch charmed guests with its creativity, style, classic chic and striking elegance. The inspiration for this very special bag comes from the sumptuous Longchamp Autumn 2012 collection, “More is More”. A fire-breathing Chinese dragon is embroidered across the flap of the bag. Available in only 99 pieces, La Maison Canton Road limited edition handbag (HK$8,800) will be exclusively available at the Longchamp Canton Road flagship store.

Inside the transparent marquee was a lavishly decorated space that fascinated the guests and the public alike. Against the magnificent night view of the Harbour was a red-carpeted pathway adorned with a huge Longchamp logo composed of light bulbs, leading the guests from the entrance to the glittering venue. Inside the party area, the changing images on the gigantic LED screens, colourful lighting and upbeat music jazzed up the night and ignited the mood. The joyous atmosphere reached its climax as over 30 flash mob dancers suddenly emerged to surprise the guests with their high-spirited performance.
