EQ:IQ AW2012 with a curated collection of feminine forms and intellectual designs for creative, confident and independent women. The collection created a series of deftly tailored pieces with exquisite details. Contemporary Parisian chic is evoked by eclectic styling, from the edgy femininity of novel print dresses mixed with leather, to the clean lines of tailored pieces softened by the organic forms of sumptuous knits.

The trench coat, a must-have for FW2012, is re-imagined in EQ:IQ’s signature minimalist style and premium materials. Modern twists on traditional designs inspire women to re-examine the classics. The pantsuit and the little black dress, for example, are restructured with softer silhouettes, and appear in new materials.

   

    

The season is defined by contrasts in texture, fabric and cut to create utterly new looks for today. Prints and vivid solids are worn with rustic felt wools. Supremely cool jackets, parkas and coats show distinctly militaristic details that add street-fashion nonchalance to 1940s glamour of rich lame dresses.      

Deep, autumnal tones set the mood which is then brightened by surprising highlights. Fine cashmere, wool, tweed and chiffon are coloured by shadows of green, grey, black and navy; while shiny silks and standout pieces are painted in a palette of car colours such as yellow, red and bronze .
