The new Bentley Continental GT and GTC V8 make their official debut in Hong Kong recently. With their cool and dynamic exterior, the new Continental GT and GTC V8complement the flagship W12 range with a Grand Tourer spirit inherited from the original Bentley sporting classics. Both models come equipped with the latest Bentley V8 engine and deliver supreme power and torque coupled with the distinctive deep growl that is hallmark of this new Bentley power unit. The launch signals a step forward for Bentley in terms of luxury drive technology and also expands the brand’s reach in Hong Kong’s younger market segment and provides ‘Differently Driven’ driving experience.

The peak performance of the new Continental GT and GTC V8 is delivered through its extraordinary powerhouse.The new 4.0 litre, twin turbocharged V8 engine delivers maximum power of 500bhp and an extraordinary peak torque of 660Nm across virtually the entire range from 1700 to 5000 rev/min.Combined with a new close-ration 8-speed automatic transmission, this translates into a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 303 km/h for the GT coupe.The GTC can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in five seconds up to a top speed of 301 km/h.

An advanced all-wheel drive system features a 40:60 rear torque bias that accentuates the sporty essence of the new V8 models by providing increased control for cornering in all weather conditions. The new Bentley V8 engine is a marvel of engineering that is a tribute to the astonishing talent of the Bentley engineers and craftsmen in Crewe. The new V8 models are perfect realisations of gorgeous Bentley design. The sharpened radii, chrome-rimmed black matrix grill and a black mesh lower grill create a striking front face on both the GT and GTC V8. Bentley's racing heritage is communicated by the unique chrome ‘figure eight’ exhaust tailpipes, the dark lower valance and stylish red enamel ‘B’ badges above the front grille and on the bootlid at the rear. Both GT and GTC V8 are specified with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard with an optional 21-inch six-spoke design available in dramatic Diamond Black (exclusive to the Continental V8) or Diamond Silver finishes.
