The latest collaboration of H&M is with Anna Dello Russo who is unabashedly glamorous, precious and playful. It is a celebration of fashion and fun and turn every day into a fashion week day. Glistening in gold and vibrant hues of turquoise and orange, this sensational range express ADR's love for ornament, her taste for excess and amusement.

The collection features jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, bags. However, its staring point is a suitcase: a turquoise trolley with gilt motifs. "I wanted to recreate the excitement of the fashion weeks tour, when you enter a dreamy fashion bubble that is almost like  a parallel reality. I tried to that sense of freedom, joy and excitement. It's like a dash of fairy tale magic, or Alice's white rabbit as a door to a new dimension." Adds Russo.

      

Outstanding jewelry is the main focus. Exuberantly Mediterranean in both ornate shapes and shiny colors. slightly surreal thanks to the snakes and crocodiles that coil around neck and wrist, it features gilded chains swarming with pendants, stone earrings with an antique feel, decorative wristbands with the preciousness of real jewels.

 

  

The same ornamental opulence carries on in the classy clutches: Cucciolina, Russo's favorable dog, makes a cameo appearance in the closure of the turquoise one. For the needs of an aspiring front-row fashionista there are theatrical sunglasses, all gilt frames, chains and animal applique, and shoes sporting a trademark stiletto heel, from sandal to thigh-high dominatrix boots. A show-stopping feather hat completes the offer.
