Ermanno Scervino has chosen the contemporary beauty of Dree Hemingway being the new face for the new FW2012 campaign. In an almost surreal atmosphere, Dree flaunts the garments of a collection inspired by the equestrian world, showcasing a new concept of nonconventional and free elegance. Shot in New York, the campaign is set in a futuristic stable with rusty metal walls and sand-strewn floors complete with a black horse, which fires the imagination. “I’ve always been attracted by that ambivalent role of the horse,” explains Ermanno Scervino, “it’s at once noble and charged with sensuality and interior strength, just like my concept of elegance.” The fusing of unconventional and luxury, debunking and craftsmanship, that once again the artful shots of photographer Francesco Carrozzini have succeeded in enhancing. “Dree express the modernity of an unconventional and free female elegance.” Expressed Ermanno Scervino.
